Why therapy?
Maybe you’re tired. Every day feels like there’s constant conflict and hurt feelings in your household. You’ve tried everything for yourself and your family - listened to doctors, read the books, asked all your friends - and it just doesn’t feel like anything’s working. You need some help, maybe some more suggestions, but mostly just some space to collect your thoughts.
Maybe something awful (or just BIG) has happened. You are reeling from a major loss, or trying to make sense of a massive change, be it positive or negative (anything from the birth of a baby to the death of a parent). All this change has left you feeling unsteady, and you need to gather yourself together again.
And maybe you feel lost. Nothing is particularly new, or “wrong,” but you can’t put your finger on it. You just know something’s…off.
With regular sessions, we can build a space for you to unpack all of this. We will talk, I will mostly listen, and create enough safety for you to feel comfortable to open up. Then we will slowly work through what has hurt you most, and find what can help you heal. It will be a journey we take together.
